Holiday Activites

During the school holidays, groups of pupils are selected to participate in a variety of activities within the local community.  The purpose of these activities is to further develop skills that have been focussed upon in term time.

Many of the activities have a physical element and these are aimed at maintaining levels of physical activity developed in PE through the holiday period.  These activities have included: golf, swimming and climbing.

Other activities may not necessarily involve physical activity but the purpose of these is to provide opportunities to develop social and emotional skills.  The pupils will not only interact with teachers and other pupils but also members of the public.

The ethos of High Well is to prepare our pupils for a positive future and by providing opportunities to visit public amenities, staff are able to support pupils in behaving in an appropriate manner when queuing, paying for items, asking for assistance etc.

The holiday activities are an extension of what we do in school.  If you are interested in your child participating, please contact the school.
