School Development Plan

Below are High Well School's Strategic Priorities for 2018-2020

Success Criteria:

  • PA is reduced to 50% by July 2019 & 40% by July 2020

2. Build the capacity of middle leaders so that they are better able to improve the quality of teaching and ensure all pupils achieve good outcomes (AFI 2)

Success Criteria:

  • Leadership is distributed across the school providing capacity for the school to continue to improve

3. Address variation in the attendance, progress and outcomes for girls so that their achievement is in line with their peers

Success Criteria:

  • Attendance, progress and outcomes for girls is in line with the rest of the school by August 2020

4.  Ensure that the curriculum is more closely aligned to the school ethos and values so that all pupils achieve good outcomes and are well-prepared for the next stage in education, employment or training

Success Criteria:

  • Increase in the number of GCSE qualifications taken by pupils from 2018/19 baseline by August 2020
  • Increase in the % of pupils achieving FFT 50 outcomes by August 2020
