Summer School 2021

Summer School

In line with the DfE recovery package for schools, High Well ran a Summer School for pupils.  The Summer School was a FREE provision and consisted of both academic and enrichment activities. 

The Summer School ran for 10 days from 26th July – 10th August 2021

Our Programme

We provided:

  • Transitional activities;
  • Additional subject support (such as English and maths);
  • Sports-based activities such as team games;
  • Arts-based activities;
  • Wellbeing-based activities (such as team building or ‘getting-to-know-you’
  • exercises) lessons beyond the classroom.

At the end of each week a celebratory BBQ was held and an end of week reward trip (ten pin bowling or other team games in line with the schools overall reward system).

 

Staff

The Summer School was staffed by qualified teaching staff, Teaching assistants and Support staff.
